  • A.J. Ross (close)

    A.J. has served as the President and leader of the Beauty & Style division since 2007. He has been the driving force in defining the business vision and cultivating a strong and positive culture. Prior to becoming President, A.J. held a couple of corporate positions, including CFO for the Home & Family Group, where he played a key role in creating and implementing the Group’s strategy. Prior to assuming that role he worked as Beauty & Style’s CFO and, before that, he worked in various positions at several business units, including Calphalon and Anchor Hocking Glass.

    A.J. started his career in the Audit department at Ernst & Young. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from the Citadel and earned an MBA from Capital University.

  • Kim Hoelting (close)

    Before joining the Beauty & Style Group, Kim graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Economics and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College. Kim began her career in consumer packaged goods companies, Procter and Gamble and Johnson and Johnson. For the past 15 years, Kim has focused on building brands within the Beauty industry at L’Oreal, Frederic Fekkai and, most recently, at Victoria’s Secret Beauty.

    Joining Beauty & Style in 2008, Kim manages the marketing, new product and communications efforts for the Goody, Ace and Solano brands. Kim lives in Atlanta with her husband, Marc, and their two children, Matthew and Charlotte.

  • Natalie Poteran (close)

    Natalie began her career in accounting at Deloitte & Touche, LLP after graduating from Quinnipiac University, a small private university in Connecticut with a BS in Accounting. Since then she has held financial positions of increasing responsibility with companies such as Cigna Healthcare, United Technologies and W.R. Grace. She joined Newell Rubbermaid in 2001 as a Financial Manager in the Corporate Business Planning & Analysis department, moving on to the Baby & Parenting Essentials division as their Sales Controller and then back to corporate where she held the position of Vice President, Corporate Business Planning & Analysis.

    Joining Beauty & Style, in 2008, Natalie plans and forecasts both strategically and operationally. She lives in Atlanta with her husband, Michael and their adorable chocolate lab, Timber.

  • Dennis Bruce (close)

    Dennis is the latest member of the Leadership Team (his predecessor recently moved onto to become President of the Canada business unit). Dennis’ biography will be coming soon.

  • Dave Smith (close)

    Prior to joining the Beauty & Style Group twelve years ago, Dave graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY with a degree in Industrial and Management Engineering and a minor in Economics. He began his career with Accurate Bushing Company in Garwood, NJ. He then spent 7 years with The Timken Company in Gaffney, SC. Following this, he made the move to become an entrepreneur; owning his own small business and working in insurance sales.

    Dave joined Beauty & Style in 1998 as a supervisor at the manufacturing plant. Since joining the team here, Dave has held the roles of Sr. Planner, Planning Supervisor, Production and Inventory Control manager, Purchasing and Inventory Control manager. At the Group level, he was Director of Sourcing for Home & Family Group in Hong Kong. He eventually rejoined the Beauty & Style business as the Director of Operations, and currently is the Vice President of Operations. He lives Atlanta and is married to Kelley and has two daughters, Alex (10) and Casey (8).

  • Paul Trotti (close)

    Paul began his career at IBM where he worked in Worldwide Operations in Raleigh, NC. Since joining Newell-Rubbermaid in 2002, Paul has worked with the Irwin, Rubbermaid, Corporate Sourcing, Bernzomatic, Amerock business units with increasing levels of leadership responsibility. Paul served as the Vice President of Engineering & Innovation for the Amerock, Ashland, and Bulldog businesses based in Charlotte, NC and previous to that as the Director of Program Management working for Newell’s Corporate Staff.

    Joining Beauty & Style in 2008, Paul manages New Product Development, Advanced Concepts and Technology Development, Industrial Design, and Packaging Engineering for the Goody, Ace, and Solano Brands. Paul lives in Atlanta with his wife, Lindsay, and their two boys, Trey and Ryan. He received an undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Duke University.

  • Andréa Carter (close)

    Before joining the Beauty & Style Group, Andréa started her career at Aramark Uniform Services. She then continued on at Fortune 100 and 500 companies such as Babies R Us, Circuit City and Home Depot. She joined Newell Rubbermaid in 2007 as VP of Human Resources for Amerock.

    Now, Andréa focuses her efforts on the acquisition, development and retention of the Beauty & Style Global world-class talent.

  • Stephen Wood (close)

    Stephen has been a part of the Beauty & Style family for over 30 years. He joined Goody & Ace Canada in September 1978 as a territory salesperson and progressed through sales, marketing and operations positions before becoming the Marketing and Operations Manager for all of Canada. In the 20 years Stephen has spent in this role, he has leveraged his specialized knowledge of the Canadian marketplace to meet the unique needs of the consumers and retailers with respect to products, packaging and distribution. Under his leadership, Goody Canada has grown to become the leading hair accessories, styling products and personal essentials company in the country.
